A Magical Symbolic Wedding at Malcesine Castle: Fiona & Josh’s Dream Day

I had the absolute pleasure of officiating Fiona and Josh’s wedding in Malcesine, Italy, at the stunning Scaliger Castle. This incredible couple traveled all the way from Australia to join their families for this special moment, and the day could not have been more beautiful—despite a little hiccup with the weather!

Fiona and Josh were elegant and rich of charme ! From the moment they arrived, they both looked absolutely stunning—Fiona’s dress was a vision of grace, and Josh looked every bit as dashing. Their love and style were evident in every moment of the ceremony, and the photos truly capture their beauty and the magic of the day. The stunning photographs were taken by Annachi from Hakuna Matata Studio, whose talent perfectly captured the essence of the celebration.

Fiona and Josh wanted a truly romantic and intimate ceremony, and together we crafted a symbolic ceremony that reflected their love and commitment to each other. The Scaliger Castle, with its dramatic views of Lake Garda and historical charm, was the perfect backdrop for their vows.

Though the weather wasn’t as perfect as we’d hoped, with a bit of rain here and there, Fiona and Josh were nothing short of amazing. They were so positive, enthusiastic, and truly in the moment—nothing could dampen their spirits. Their love for each other shone through the entire ceremony, and the energy was simply contagious.

One of the things that made this day even more special was the incredible support they received from the family members and I : Antonella, their symbolic wedding celebrant. From the very first contact, I worked closely with Fiona and Josh to ensure every step of the planning process was seamless and that their ceremony was everything they dreamed of. It was such a joy to guide them through the process and witness their love for each other grow even stronger.

Even with the weather challenges, the entire day flowed beautifully, and we had a fantastic time celebrating their love. It was such an honor to be part of their journey and to help create a ceremony that will remain in their hearts forever.
